In Visions
The office smelled new. Her office chair smelled new. Her desk, her stationary it all smell new. Her nameplate was shiny on her desk, and her name Dr. Anna Beth Graham shined in the light that came through the floor to ceiling windows that lined the right side of the office.
Of course the office and everything in it was pretty much new. This was her very first day in her very own practice. She had finished her residency, completed her doctorate, and obtained her license. She was official now.
She was so excited, she was acting a bit like a kid. Spinning her top of the line office chair around and around a few times before stopping. The room continued to spin for just a moment. She laughed a little at how silly she was acting. She noticed that the spinning had caused strands of her blonde hair to come undone from the bun at the back of her head. She quickly stuck those behind her ears.
